this is what i had been dreaming about for the past couple of weeks. in my dream sid kept giving me an ebony box with a 2 tone gold flute pendant. my father interpreted it as, “there will be a celebration, a big one, in honor of Sid.” flute symbolically means heavenly bliss, a hapiness incomparable.

CCP is mounting a Sid Hildawa retrospective, by the way, slated for Xmas (Sid was born Dec 25, remember?).

his passing away left a deep void time only knows how to fill.

the painting in your blog, the one used at CCP was painted by me. a gift for him on his birthday in 2005.
